  9. I believe you need at least Buster 9. Since our A3000 has socketed 
  10. Buster slot, why not go for a Buster 11?

  19. I had the 3.1 processor with Buster 9 - BAD COMBINATION as far as Zorro 
  20. cards go. I could get EMplant to work, or I could get Fast Lane to work. 
  21. I could never even boot with the Spectrum board installed.

  23. After much corespondance with the Fast Lane folks, they asked "Do you 
  24. have a 3.1 processor board with Buster 9?". I told them I did, they said 
  25. either get a 3.0 processor, or have someone replace the surface mounted 
  26. Buster 9 with a Buster 11. I had ordered a new motherboard and the 
  27. dealer had the 3.1 processor boards come in - I had taken one since you 
  28. reportedly need a 3.1 processor board to take full advantage of the 
  29. Buster 11.

  31. I didn't go either route, I got a Warp Engine (Which replaces the 
  32. processor board). Now Spectrum works and Emplant works. I sold my 
  33. Spectrum and now have a CyberVision64 with 4 megs RAM. I set the slow 
  34. jumper - no errors or anything. No stray pixels - really nice to use!

  39. It will not work reliable (at all) with anything less than Buster 9. If 
  40. you have a Buster 11, you will get about 20% speed increase from not 
  41. needing to use the slow Buster mode (reportedly). SOME MACHINES will 
  42. have timing problems even with Buster 11, there are some version of 
  43. motherboards that were timing nightmares. If you still get stray pixels, 
  44. you will have to use the slow Buster mode regardless (as per the 
  45. manual).
